    Great Moisturizer

L'Occitane's Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream is the perfect way to moisturize! My hands have been super dry with the constant changes in temperature from being outside in the cold and inside where it's hot. This cream is thick enough to provide a deep lasting hydration, but it doesn't leave a greasy sticky feeling. I wish it came with a little scoop though.

    Rich and smooth Body Cream

This body cream is very rich and smooth. Easy to apply and rub into the skin. I love how soft my skin feels after using it and the smell is very subtle yet great! I'd highly recommend this body cream especially during the winter season if you're looking to up your body moisturizer.

    Thick soft and moisturizing

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Balm & Ultra Rich Body Cream

Thick moisturizer but without the greasy feeling and leaves skin feeling extremely soft. It goes on so smooth and luxurious. It does have a scent of shea which can be sensitive but I enjoyed it !

    Thicc Cream

L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream

This cream is undeniably luxurious, with its 25% shea butter formula delivering intense hydration and nourishment to even the driest skin. The texture is rich but absorbs surprisingly well, leaving a velvety finish without feeling greasy. I love the soothing scent of jasmine and ylang-ylang—it's subtle, fresh, and perfect for unwinding after a long day.

That said, at $66, this cream feels more like a splurge than a necessity. While it’s a treat for the skin, I’ve found other creams with a similar concentration of shea butter at a much lower price. If you’re looking for indulgence and a spa-like experience, this is a fantastic option. But if budget is a concern, there are more affordable alternatives that deliver comparable hydration and results.

Would recommend for gifting or occasional use, but not as a go-to daily moisturizer for the price.

    Thick but not greasy

Winter skin struggles? Not this year! I’ve been using L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Balm and Ultra Rich Body Cream, and they’ve seriously saved my skin. The hand balm is thick in the best way—my hands feel super soft, but not greasy, even after washing them a million times.

The body cream is so rich and moisturizing—it’s perfect for dry, itchy skin, and it sinks in quickly without feeling heavy. Plus, it smells so nice and cozy. Definitely my new winter must-haves!

Got these to try, and they’ve been amazing.

Perfect for my winter dry skin

Here's my review of the L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra
    Rich Body Cream:
    Pros:
    - you only need a tiny amount, so it lasts forever.
    - it feels super luxurious and is incredibly moisturizing
    - the scent is lovely — noticeable but not too strong
    - it's perfect for tackling dry, winter skin and keeps it soft all day
    Cons:
    - it takes some time to fully absorb, so it's not ideal if you're in a hurry to get dressed

    Hydration Hero for Harsh Winters

The L'Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream has been a lifesaver for my dry, winter skin! Living in Manitoba, where the winters are unforgivingly cold and dry, I’ve struggled to find a product that truly keeps my skin hydrated all day. This cream does it effortlessly.

The texture is rich and luxurious, it absorbs beautifully without leaving a greasy residue. My skin feels instantly soothed, soft, and nourished. Plus, the light scent is very calming—a little spa moment every time I use it.

If you’re battling winter dryness or just want a decadent, effective body cream, I couldn’t recommend this more! It’s a cold-weather essential in my skincare routine now.

    On the fence

I wanted to LOVE L’Occitane Body Cream but can only give it a like. It works great, two thumbs up for efficacy. Helps to nourish and moisturize parched, dry skin. Love that it’s vegan. Refillable. So many pluses. But I didn’t enjoy the scent. At all. Very grandmother- ish. I also found washing my hands afterward was necessary as it didn’t absorb into palms and fingertips and left a greasy feeling. Great for legs, arms, body though. Mixed feelings on this one. I received this product #free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you @thisisbutterly and @loccitane for the opportunity. #bodymoisturizer #vegan #dryskin

    Nourishing and gentle

This has the be the smoothest cream I've ever laid my fingertips on! It feels as close to a liquid as a cream can feel, and when youa apply it, it feels like water and is immediately nourishing and hydrating.
10/10 this cream checks all the boxes for me, large quantity, packaging protects it and keeps it fresh all the while looking beautiful and easy to take in a purse, very gentle on even the driest of my skin, and the ingredients are a huge YES for me!
I absolutely live for this cream, use it day and night, and especially fresh out of a shower! My dried out, winter exposed canadian skin thrives with this cream, and i couldn't be happier!

    Love this body cream

This body cream is amazing! The first thing I noticed was the soft subtle scent. The second thing I noticed was how fast this cream soaked into my skin. I will definitely buy this body cream again!
