Great clumping litter

We have two cats in our household and one is a diabetic so he uses the litter box often. We have tried different litters but they either don’t clump or they clump but stay wet causing the sand to stick to our cats’ paws. This litter is lightweight and clumps really nicely. We have been able to go in and sift the clumps out easily and without much mess. I highly recommend this litter.

Really convenient

To be honest i was debating if i wanted to buy this again, and personally by seeing how it kept the litter super clean made my decision a bit more harder. The only reason i wouldn’t buy it is because it looks like a literal sand box, and i find it leaves an odor that isn’t pleasant compared to another brand i use.. other then that it makes scooping a lot more easier and keeps the liter super clean without a mess or even any thing sticking to the sides or bottom. It really does the trick so i may have to continue buying it for the convenience side of it.

Works well for my two cats

Have been using this for about a week with no complaints so far. We use an automatic litterbox so a lightweight clumping litter is a must. When the weather gets warmer, even with regular litter changes we can often smell the litterbox but this product has been doing a great job so far.

If you're on the hunt for a new cat litter that handles odor control and clumping with ease, ARM & HAMMER™ HardBall™ Clumping Litter might be worth checking out. Here's what I think:

Pros:

- Superb Odor Control: This litter does an amazing job at locking in odors. It uses ARM & HAMMER™ baking soda, which is a classic ingredient for absorbing smells. Even after a few days, I haven't noticed any lingering "cat box" smell.

- Great Clumping Action: The clumps form quickly and are solid. If you scoop right away, it’s easy to scoop, and it doesn’t crumble apart when you try to clean it out.

- Low Dust: For anyone with respiratory issues or if you just don’t want a dusty mess, this litter is a win. It’s much lower in dust compared to some other brands.

- Weight: It's lighter in weight than their regular litter.

Cons:

- Tracking: While not as bad as some other brands, there is still a bit of litter tracking. If your cat is a digger or if you don’t have a mat at the base of the box, expect to clean up some litter from around the box.

- Clumping Can Get Hard: The clumps are very solid, but if left for too long, they can get a little too hard to scoop. So, you do have to stay on top of cleaning it out regularly.

- Price: ARM & HAMMER™ HardBall™ tends to be a bit pricey, so it might not be the best choice for some.

Overall, it's a bit too expensive for my limited budget. The odor control is excellent, and the clumping action makes it easy to scoop and clean. It has some tracking issues, those are minor inconveniences compared to how well it performs in other areas. If you’re looking for a good litter that controls odors well, this one is definitely worth considering!

Fantastic litter!

We’ve got 6 cats and this litter has been a lifesaver! I only have to clean the litter boxes every two days and the cats absolutely love it! There is no dust and the litter clumps into perfect balls! Love this stuff.

not impressed

I received this Arm and Hammer Hardball lightweight clumping cat litter Free in exchange for my honest opinion. This was so hard to find in stores, and I finally found some, but was shocked how expensive this is. This is 2x the price of regular clay litters at most stores. I like the weight of the package, that was a nice change, but opening that box was a challenge. I would hope they make easy tear packs or some other container in future. Next the product looks like sand, feels like a sand or even sawdust mixture. I didn't examine it further the package might tell me but I want to get my thoughts out first. Through trying to find this in store I read the reviews others have posted at several places and it worried me. Many claimed it was sticking to their cats paws and they were concerned about the cat ingesting this while bathing. That alarmed me and I decided I would test this with water first myself. I can see what others mean when I added the litter to the tray and then added water this became a gooey clumping mess. I tried scooping the litter with my regular cat litter scoop and it stuck really thickly to the scoop. Seeing this I do not believe I would try this on animals. I appreciate that others may feel this product is great, and works as it claims, but I would not put an animal in something that is possibly going to stick on their fur or paws and they ultimately ingest it. This is a definite pass for me and my pet.

Great Litter Product

I truly enjoy the quality of this litter as well as my cats! It definitely shrunk odours and used what it needed to use to clump my cats' waste. I think my favourite thing about this litter is the very limited dust that comes out when pouring it. This litter makes scooping and changing the litter SO easy and mess-free! My cats have had no bad reactions and enjoyed the freshness that lasted. Overall, this is a great product for your cat needs!

Not as effective

I received this to try for free for my review. First thing I noticed was the price. Wow, when I can get 22.7kg of cat litter for 15$, paying approx 25$ for less than 1/4 of the amount,I thought to myself this better be a litter that scoops itself or something, because the price per quantity is not good. Then I tried to fill 2 boxes with it but couldn't, so I ended up using it all(7lb box) in one litter box, and my regular brand in the other. The added scent is definitely enough to cover any unpleasant smells, but I am unsure how safe that is for cats, as it was quite strong in my opinion. Also, yes it clumped up and hardened very well, but if you have cats that pee close to the side of the box, it solidifies and is hard to get off of the box. The last thing I will say, is if you have a cat with fancy pants, aka long hair around their butt, this might stick to their hair and clump up. Overall, would not buy, it is not life-changing and honestly was inconveniencing my litter cleaning task.

Arm and hammer

ARM & HAMMER HardBall Clumping Litter is very strong. It is clumping after the cat pee and poops so easy to take out and dispose leaving the rest of the litter fresh. I really liked this product for my cats.

It’s alright

It says hard clumping but I’ve found harder in others that don’t advertise that. I also tend to go for corn litter as my usual purchase so I probably wouldn’t get this again.
