So Good That I'm Still Thinking About Them 8 Years Later
Literally just emailed Loblaw head office to request that they bring these back. Not sure if they just don't do them in BC anymore, but I was just reminiscing about these with my friend and can't believe that they keep the regular chocolate chip ones but haven't brought these back!
Decadent, Rich and Delicious
I am obsessed with these peanut butter chocolate chunk ice cream sandwiches. The cookies are rich and have a nice bite to them. They taste like classic chocolate chip cookies with chocolate chunks except they are better because they also have a large amount of peanut butter chips. The peanut butter chips taste somewhat melted so you really get a strong peanut butter flavor throughout. Because of the ice cream in the middle the cookies are more soft and easy to eat. The peanut butter ice cream is rich and creamy. The peanut butter flavor is not overpowering but it is there. The taste of the cookie with the peanut butter and chocolate chunks and the rich flavorful ice cream is just heavenly. I found these at Loblaws. They are a good price and 6 individually portioned peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie sandwiches come individually wrapped.
BEST THING I EVER TASTED!
I don't know how else to describe these other than the BEST THING I EVER TASTED! I could eat one for dessert every night after dinner.
This is essentially light-tasting peanut butter ice sandwiched in between two of the most fluffy and delicious cookies I've ever eaten. The cookies are soft and chewy, with just the slightest crunch. The sides get soft from the ice cream and remind me of eating raw cookie dough. There are chunks of chocolate and peanut butter chips in the cookies. The light ice cream combines perfectly with the sweet, decadent cookie to make this dessert taste light and refreshing.
These can be found at Loblaws or Independent. I recommend you go out and buy a pack... now!
